300,000 € co-topper at the Arqana-Trot Summer Sale

Arqana-Trot held its Vente d’Ete and Cabourg Trotting summer auction on Friday (June 28) and the results have improved compared to 2023 due to a pair of real frontrunners. 158 lots were catalogued, of which 106 were sold for a gross turnover of € 2,173,000, compared to € 1,386,500 last year when 98 lots were sold.

This year the frontrunners were both at €300,000 and they were Lot 45 Kaviarissime (4 m love you-Elegantissime), which Philippe Allaiire sold and Christophe Bridault bought. This horse has made 22 starts with four wins and 14 placings, earning €165,770. His fastest time is 1.11.0kr,

The other €300,000 lot was number 53A Kapitano de Source (4m Cash-Varina), who acquired SAS Trotting Bloodstock from Ecurie Hunter Valley. He has made 17 starts, scoring six wins and four placings, earning €182,650 along with a best of 1.12.0 kr. He won the Gr, III Yearling Cup at Enghien over 2700 metres in 1.14.2 kr.

Lot 40 My Way Delo (2f) brought in €100,000 Cash-Etincelle Delo), which was purchased by Gaetano Pezone. This qualified in Caen for 1,17,4 kr.

Jean Pierre Dubois was back on the scene and acquired lot 101 Encore A Deux (10f Sam Bourbon-Nine Mandrik) for 48,000 €, she is pregnant by the young stallion Fabulous Wood.
