AE Live, a global leader in data and broadcast solutions, announced the extension of its long-standing partnership with Bafta award-winning broadcaster ITV Sport.

AE Live is recognised globally as a key provider of specialist graphics and data services to some of the world’s leading governing bodies, broadcasters and production companies. The partnership between AE Live and ITV Sport has existed for over 25 years.

Stuart Coles, CCO of AE Live, said: “We are delighted to be extending our long-standing relationship with ITV, a broadcaster that strives to engage its audience in new and exciting ways. We look forward to continuing this exciting journey with them.”

ITV Racing was named Bafta winner for the second time this year for its production of the opening day of last year’s Cheltenham Festival and was named Best Sports Broadcast of 2023.

An ITV spokesperson said: “ITV Sport has a long-standing relationship with AE Live and we look forward to building on this. Over the past few years their team has delivered rebranding projects for a variety of sports and major tournaments, as well as on-site AR, to a high standard and we will continue to challenge each other to deliver even better results on screen for the viewer at home.”

AE Live provides on-screen graphics, both match and presentation coverage, for a wide range of ITV’s sports coverage including: Horse Racing, Darts, Snooker, English Football Friendlies and Qualifiers (Men’s and Women’s), FA Cup, La Liga, Rugby 6 Nations and Premiership Rugby and currently the UEFA European Championship 2024.

As part of the renewal, AE Live (both on-site and from ITV’s production centres in London) will work with the broadcaster to continue to develop new innovations and improvements to complement the extensive graphics and statistics already used. Innovations in racing include AR graphics, on-track wirecams and the integration of race and timing data from various suppliers, while new graphic styles have been implemented for the snooker and darts coverage (using designs provided by ITV).
