Featuring airplane and car demonstrations, two STEM activity centers for kids, and vintage car rides, this event is fun for the whole family. OHTM is excited to offer a variety of indoor and outdoor educational activities including pedal and self-driving cars for kids, “Touch a Truck” experiences with fire trucks and semi-trucks, tire tread painting, a kid-friendly “sandbox” with toy trucks to haul materials, outdoor family games, and more!

Fire truck fans won’t want to miss OHTM’s 1926 American LaFrance Ladder Truck, converted from a Model T. This absolutely original chemical truck was used by the Farmington Fire Department. Two 25-gallon chemical tanks are filled with water with 10 pounds of caustic soda dissolved in it. Sulfuric acid is added to a glass container near the top of the tank. The result is a chemical reaction that forces the water out of the hose!
