Meera Nandan’s wedding: Fahadh Faasil, Kavya Madhavan among the celebrity guests

Actress Meera Nandan’s wedding at Guruvayoor Temple was a grand affair and was attended by the stars of the Malayalam film industry. The actor turned radio presenter married UK-based chartered accountant Sreeju at Guruvayoor Temple on Saturday. Actors Nazriya and Ann Augustine, close friends of Meera, were present and actor and Nazriya’s husband Fahadh Faasil also graced the occasion.
Kavya Madhavan, Dileep and their daughter Mahalakshmi were among the other celebrities who attended the wedding. Several celebrities who could not attend the function also congratulated the couple on social media. Meera, while speaking to the media after her wedding on Saturday, revealed why she decided to tie the knot with her husband at the Guruvayoor Temple.

“I have always felt a connection to this temple. I used to visit this place as a child and did so every month until I left Kerala to work as a radio presenter in Dubai,” she said. Meera also spoke about Sreeju, adding that they met through a matchmaking site. “Then we started talking and decided that we were a perfect match,” she said. She added that her husband was the complete opposite of her, a trait she found very appealing. Their first meeting was in Dubai.
Meera and Sreeju, who works as a chartered accountant in the UK, got engaged last year. The actress made her debut in Mollywood with the Lal Jose film Mulla. She then went on to play various roles in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Meera grew up in Elamakkara in Kochi.
