MSC Bengal Service

MSC, a leading global shipping company, has announced the expansion of its Bengal service, creating direct connections between China and Bangladesh. The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the market. The enhanced Bengal service offers a transit time from Shanghai to Chattogram of just ten days, providing customers with faster and more efficient shipping services.

In addition to the service expansion to Bengal, MSC will also launch a new standalone service called Saola. This service will offer direct connections between Central China and Vietnam with competitive transit times, giving customers more options and flexibility.

The Kaguya service will continue to improve, benefiting long-distance transport to and from Japan with a connection via Busan. These improvements are expected to make transport more efficient and reliable for businesses and individuals.

The first departures of the extended services are planned as follows:

  • Bengal: MSC Chaewon Voyage SX428A – ETA Qingdao 8 July 2024
  • Saola: MSC Vigour Voyage HS428A – estimated time of arrival Shanghai, July 10, 2024
  • Kaguya: MSC Lilou III Voyage HG429A – estimated time of arrival Busan, 20 July 2024

The complete rotations are as follows:

Bengali Service
Qingdao – Ningbo – Shanghai – Chattogram – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Qingdao

Saola Service
Shanghai – Ningbo – Haiphong – Ho Chi Minh City – Vung Tau – Shanghai

Kaguya Service
Kobe – Osaka – Hakata – Busan – Kobe
