As Marvel Studios’ most prized possession draws closer to 2024, one of its leading stars has praised his mutant partner’s work to date. In an interview with Total Film, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds remembered his past as Merc With a Mouth, which (at least in its modern era) began with Dead Pool in 2016. The film was so popular that it was even nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2018 Academy Awards, an incredibly rare feat for any comic book film.
