Admittedly, this is fraud. While Nancy Meyers is the producer of Back homeHer daughter Hallie Meyers-Shyer directed the film, but it’s obvious that she took inspiration from her mother. Reese Witherspoon plays an interior designer in the film, so her Spanish-style house had to have impeccable interiors. The white kitchen with blue patterned tile backsplash, the spacious living room with large windows, and the guest house, which is important to the story, make it an enviable property.

The yellow house that Diane Keaton’s character buys in Vermont is a lovely town home with a rustic style. The farmhouse kitchen is endlessly inviting, with baby blue cabinets, plaid cafe curtains, and a fireplace against a brick and stone wall. Throughout the house, patterned wallpaper and furniture add character.
