Which films from before 2000 have aged the best?

What is the best Pixar movie?

Pixar recently hit the jackpot with Inside Out 2. The film earned a 90% critics’ score and a 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and has dominated the box office since its release. While I didn’t like it as much as the first film, I thought it was a great entry into the legendary Pixar filmography. But which is the best film the company has ever released? Personally, I lean towards the Toy Story trilogy, and this may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like the third film the best. I think because of my age at the time and the new characters that were introduced, it all fit together perfectly and was one of the best trilogy-ending films of all time. Are you leaning towards one of the first two films in the Toy Story series? And how about Monsters, Inc.? Ratatouille? Wall-E or The Incredibles? Finding Nemo and Up are also two of the best, although they don’t take the top spot for me. I think one of the most underrated songs is Soul, which was released at the height of the pandemic in 2020. Which dramatic performance by a comedian is your favorite?

Actors often say that comedies are much harder than dramas, and when you watch serious performances from actors famous for comedy, it makes sense. Personally, I love Andy Samberg’s performance in Celeste & Jesse Forever. While it’s still a funny movie, he got to flex his dramatic muscles a lot more than his usual silly performances. That being said, it’s also a highly underrated movie that deserves a little more love. With that said, who are your favorite funny people who can handle drama just as well?

Which MCU project are you most looking forward to?

Which MCU project, be it a movie or TV series, are you most excited for? I’m excited for Deadpool 3, but I think I’m most excited for Fantastic Four in 2025. I’m happy with the cast so far and I think there’s a lot of potential to bring back fans who haven’t watched the franchise in recent years. Unfortunately, there aren’t any TV series on Disney+ that I’m interested in watching. Loki was great and I also loved WandaVision, but that was three years ago and at this point I’m not sure I’m really interested in the upcoming Vision Quest series. What are you looking forward to? We’ll finally get two more Avengers movies in the coming years, along with Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts. Are you excited for the return of Daredevil?

What would you like to see from Quentin Tarantino’s last film?

If he sticks to his original plan, Quentin Tarantino is gearing up for his final film. Of course, it was originally going to be The Movie Critic, but it seems like that idea has been abandoned, so what do you expect from the director for his final film? If rumors are to be believed, I was a fan of the direction The Movie Critic took, but if he really does something different, I would love to finally see Kill Bill Vol. 3. However, I don’t think he will follow through with that idea for his final film, as much as I wish it were true. So what do you expect from the director? I think he will go in a completely new direction, and I hope it will be at least as good as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which I think is some of his best work.

What is your favorite Willem Dafoe movie?

Willem Dafoe is perhaps one of the best character actors to ever grace the screen. He oozes charisma and isn’t afraid to take on incredibly demanding roles, and his facial features are instantly recognizable. He steals practically every scene he’s in. It should come as no surprise that he has many classics to his credit. Many will probably rank Bloody Mary among his best film contributions, while purists will put early roles like Platoon at the top. He’s even played one of superhero cinema’s most iconic villains in two different decades. My personal favorite of his has to be The Lighthouse, which, incidentally, is also an incredible tour de force for Robert Pattinson. An honorable mention goes to him casually throwing a cat out the window in The Grand Budapest Hotel. What is your favorite Willem Dafoe film?

What movie do you love that everyone else seems to dislike?

Sometimes you watch a movie that touches you, but when you bring it up in front of other people, it seems like it’s generally unpopular and you’ve missed the message. When I was a kid, my dad showed me Caddyshack II. Jackie Mason was one of his favorite comedians and we laughed and laughed together. It was my personal favorite for years, and for a long time I was unaware of its status as one of the worst movies of all time. I’ve since been forced to rewatch it, but I have to admit, I still like it. Spider-Man 3 is another movie that I never really understood why it was so hated. Sure, it wasn’t as good as the first two, but it did a lot of things right. What movie have you enjoyed that others seem to despise?
